When a got the job offer to move across the country five years ago–out of my comfort zone, away from my family and friends–I knew within my heart that I was meant to accept the job. I didn’t care that I couldn’t afford to bring furniture. I knew that it would work out. I didn’t know how I was going to make friends or date in a new City. I didn’t make friends instantly, and it took me even longer to find love. But the journey of learning a new City, meeting new people and experiencing new things has been invaluable.
Each of us has a choice: we can worry about the future and try to figure everything out, or we can trust the journey and let God, the Universe or whatever you believe in guide you to an outcome so wonderful beyond anything you could have imagined. I am grateful for my journey and look forward to seeing what is next.
